Why CB10 and not painted black?
Painted black screws look the part but the Allen key or drive socket can chip the paint away from the drive recess, leaving bare metal exposed at the most visible point of the fastener. The CB10 black finish is chemically bonded directly to the stainless steel surface. It is not a coating sitting on top waiting to be damaged - it is part of the screw itself.
