Black Stainless Steel Socket Cap Head Bolts
Our socket cap head bolt are manufactured using A2 grade stainless steel (304) to DIN 912 specification.
A profile head with serious holding power
The cylindrical cap head and internal hex socket are what define this bolt - the head sits proud of the surface with a neat, compact profile, and the hexagon socket allows high torque to be applied with a standard Allen key or hex bit, giving a secure and reliable fixing in even the most demanding of places.
The smaller lengths are fully threaded, however as the cap bolts length increase an unthreaded shank section sits below the head. This is better suited to applications where a smooth bearing surface or precise location is needed. The shank section is worked out using this formula: (2 x bolt diameter in mm) + 12mm. Smaller lengths are fully threaded.
DIN 912 Specification
Supplied to DIN 912 with metric thread, available in sizes M2 to M30 and a wide range of lengths. Compatible with standard metric hex nuts and washers — also available in black stainless from Carbolts for a fully matched fixing set.
