What is a Socket Button Head Screw?
A socket button head screw is a type of machine screw with a low-profile, dome-shaped head and an internal hexagonal (allen key) socket drive. The rounded head profile sits closer to the surface than a standard cap head screw, giving a cleaner, more streamlined appearance - making these screws the go-to choice for any application where aesthetics matter as much as function.
Manufactured to ISO 7380-1
Carbolts black stainless socket button head screws are produced from A2 grade stainless steel (grade 304) and finished with our famous CB10 black oxide coating — the same permanent, fade-proof finish used across our entire Carbolts range of black stainless fasteners.
Technical Standard - ISO 7380-1
ISO 7380-1 specifies a hexagon socket button head screw with metric threads. Sizes from M2 to M12. The standard defines all dimensional characteristics including head diameter, head height, socket size, socket depth, thread pitch and thread tolerances.
